Senegal’s star forward Sadio Mane is leaving English club Liverpool and signing for German champions Bayern Munich. The 30-year-old forward is moving to a new address after six seasons at Liverpool.
Bayern Munich will have to spend 41 million euros to sign Mane. In Bangladeshi currency which is about 400 crore rupees. Bayern’s sporting director Hassan Salihamizic confirmed the news.
However, Liverpool will not get the full 41 million euros at once. Initially Bayern will pay 32 million euros. Later, 6 million euros will have to be paid on match match and 3 million euros based on personal and team achievements.
Six years ago, Liverpool paid 34 million euros to sign Mane from another English club, Southampton. Allreds are now making seven million euros by selling him.
This means that he expressed his desire to leave the club after losing to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final last May. Apart from Robert Lewandowski’s club, Bayern also needed a forward.
Matching the needs of the two sides easily means moving from Liverpool to Bayern. That means he has scored 120 goals in 269 appearances for Liverpool in six years.
