What could be more embarrassing for Pakistan PTI Leader

PML-N leader Shahbaz Sharif is leading the race to become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. He is expected to be the next prime minister in a vote in parliament on Monday. However, on the same day, the court has a day to frame charges against Shahbaz and his son Hamza Shahbaz in a case of smuggling 1,400 crore rupees.

Referring to the issue, Fawad Chowdhury, the leader of Imran Khan’s party who lost his post as Prime Minister, said today that it was a matter of great shame for Pakistan. This information has been given in a report of Pakistani media Dawn.

Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has objected to Shahbaz’s candidature for the PM’s job. Fawad Chowdhury, who lost his post as information minister, said PTI lawmakers would resign from the lower house of parliament on Monday if their objections were not heeded.

Objecting to Shahbaz, he said, “What could be more embarrassing for Pakistan than the fact that a government nominated by foreigners and imported by them is being set up here, headed by a man like Shahbaz.”

Imran lost his post of Prime Minister in a no-confidence vote in Parliament yesterday. Imran and his party have accused the United States of plotting to overthrow the government. Cricket star Imran Khan, Pakistan’s prime minister-elect, has been talking about it since the opposition moved a no-confidence motion in parliament on March 8.

The United States is said to be angry with Imran over his disagreement with Washington over the Russia-Ukraine war. Russia launched an attack on Ukraine on February 24. Imran Khan visited Moscow on the same day. He also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said the United States had raised the question of why he had gone on the trip. Imran also alleged in a telegram that a US State Department official had informed the Pakistani ambassador to Washington about his government’s negative attitude towards Imran Khan.

Raising this issue, Imran Khan has repeatedly said that he was working for the establishment of an independent foreign policy of Pakistan. The politicians of his country are overthrowing the government in the conspiracy of other countries.

Talking to reporters in Islamabad today, Fawad Chowdhury said that the leaders of the Central Executive Committee of PTI had a meeting with Imran Khan at Bani Gala on the current overall situation. The Central Committee has advised Imran Khan to decide on the resignation of PTI members at the beginning of the National Assembly session. “If our objections to the nomination of Shahbaz Sharif are not taken into account, we will resign tomorrow (Monday),” he said.
Fawad Chowdhury said that Shahbaz, who is on the verge of being convicted in a money laundering case, will contest for the post of Prime Minister, which is an extreme injustice.

A special court (Central-1) of Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has a day to frame charges against Shahbaz and his son in a money laundering case tomorrow (April 11). This father-son can be accused in this case tomorrow.

PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi has been nominated to contest for the post of Prime Minister. Explaining the reasons for the party’s decision, Fawad Chowdhury said that if they are allowed to contest in the elections, they will get a chance to challenge the nomination of Habaz.
