US Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense to visit Kiev

Two influential US ministers are set to visit war-torn Kiev on the 70th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin will visit Kiev on Sunday to discuss other assistance, including the provision of more powerful weapons to Ukraine. “We are all sure that we will not be destroyed by any forces or demons,” Zelensky said in a video message on the occasion of Easter Sunday, the Christian religious holiday.

During a visit to Kiev, Kiev will hold talks with US leaders on the supply of powerful and heavy weapons needed for Ukraine, Zelensky told a news conference on Saturday. Which will be used to reclaim the occupied territories of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has announced plans to visit Russia and Ukraine to discuss ways to end the war in Ukraine. He will travel to Turkey before leaving for Russia and Ukraine.
