Microsoft reports that frequent cyber-attacks have become Russia’s hybrid warfare tactics, along with military strikes on the battlefield.

Microsoft, which works closely with Ukrainian cyber security experts and non-governmental organizations to prevent such attacks in Russia, said:

Russia’s destructive offensive against Ukraine is ongoing, the report said. These Russian attacks have become a threat to the people of Ukraine.

“In the first week of the aggression, Russian hackers carried out a cyber attack on one of Ukraine’s main media outlets,” Microsoft said. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Russian military base.

The report says, “Russia has carried out these attacks in order to disrupt or disrupt the activities of Ukrainian government and military institutions.”

Russia’s foreign intelligence service has denied the allegations in a statement issued Friday stating “Similar, baseless allegations concerning Russia’s intelligence have been made more than once.
