Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has appointed South Africa’s Anton Rox as fielding coach. Rox’s appointment has been effective since March 6.

Rox, who plays first-class cricket for South Africa, was once the coach of the Netherlands men’s team. This time, Rox will be the head fielding coach of the Sri Lankan national team and High Performance Center. Prior to that, he was the assistant fielding coach for Nottinghamshire County. Sri Lanka is coming to Bangladesh next month. Rox will handle the Sri Lankan fielding division in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Rox, 40, has played four first-class and List ‘A’ matches in South African domestic cricket.
