Bridget Brink has been named the new US ambassador to Ukraine.

Brink, a veteran diplomat, is currently serving as US ambassador to Slovakia. The post of US ambassador to Ukraine has been vacant since the fall of former US President Donald Trump in 2020. Which will now meet Brink.
US President Joe Biden may announce his name on Monday, according to US media reports.
The United States has said it is reviewing the security situation in Kiev, two months after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Considering the situation, efforts will be made to open the embassy as soon as possible.
