‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Tyler Baltierra Shows Off Incredible Weight Loss Success: Before and After Photos

Prepare to be wowed! Teen Mom OG star Tyler Baltierra is looking and feeling better than ever after an incredible weight loss transformation.  

“Officially done with this cut, and I managed to drop 24 pounds while maintaining the strength I built while I was gaining!” the reality star shared alongside a series of before and after photos posted via Instagram in August 2022. 

The Michigan native began with a photo from March “at the end of [his] bulk” period, weighing in at 203 pounds. He followed that with a current photo from “the end of [his] cut” as he currently weighs 179 pounds. 

“I’m pretty happy with the results. It makes me even more pumped to see how the next cut goes after I’m done bulking again,” Tyler added. 

“I did decide to shift my goals a little and focus more on aesthetics [and] muscle building for this next bulk cycle, rather than strength building (like I was doing before),” Tyler added. “I still have a long way to go until I reach my ultimate goal, but I promised myself that I would post more about my fitness journey, because it helps keep me accountable and I get questions about it from you guys all the time,” he said while noting that he is “pretty happy with the results.”

The girl dad has been documenting his wellness journey via social media for years. 

“Hard work is paying off! It’s been six months since completely changing my eating habits,” he shared in a June 2018 Instagram gym selfie. “I dropped 40 pounds and now it’s time to cut it all up with these workouts, BOOM!”

Tyler – who’s married to high school sweetheart Catelynn Baltierra (née Lowell) –  followed that up with another progress update three months later saying, “I’ve been eating healthy for about 7 months … but I’ve only been working out for 3 of those months.” 

“I’m finally starting to see results from it!” he added in September 2018, detailing his diet which consists of “no processed foods,” “low carbs” and “no sugar.”

In addition to eating healthy and working out, the MTV star also previously revealed that he quit smoking cigarettes. 

“Today marks eight weeks from when I made the decision to make a lifestyle change,” Tyler tweeted in February 2018. “I started caring more about what kind of food I put in my body, and I wanted to challenge and prove to myself that I can do it! … It has also been two years since I quit smoking cigs!”
