Brazilian legend known as the emperor of football. The last time he played international football was about 50 years ago. Yet arguably he is still considered the best footballer of all time.

Pele holds many records, including three World Cup victories for Brazil. Of which several records still remain intact. Which no one else could break.

Below are some of Pel’s many intact records:

Pele holds the record for being the youngest player to win and win
the World Cup as the youngest player in the world. Brazil beat host Sweden 5-2 in the 1958 World Cup final. On that day, at the age of 18 years and 249 days, Pelলে started playing and scored a pair of goals.

The highest goal
for Brazil was scored in 1981 when Pel played his last international match in a Brazilian jersey. No one else in Brazil has yet broken his highest international goal record. Pel scored 6 goals in 92 FIFA recognized matches. However, Neymar Jr. is very close with 61 goals.

is the only footballer in the world to have won three World Cup titles. Brazil’s first three World Cups – 1956, 1962 and 1970 – were won by the team known as the Black Manik. No other footballer in the world has won three World Cups.

Pelলে holds the record for most assists at the World Cup. He played in four World Cups (1956, 1962, 196 and 1970). Where he helped his teammates with 10 goals. Of these, he did six assists in the 1970s. This is the record for most assists in a World Cup.

holds the record for the youngest goal scorer at the World Cup so far. He scored in the quarter-finals of the 1958 World Cup against Wales. Brazil entered the semi-finals of the tournament with the help of Pel’s goal.

Pelলে, the youngest hat-trick
man in the World Cup, played his first World Cup in 1958 and scored three goals alone in the semi-finals. His hat-trick helped Brazil to a 5-2 victory over France. At just 18 years and 245 days old, Pel scored his first hat-trick in the World Cup.
