Pakistan’s newly elected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday canceled a two-day weekly leave of absence from government offices and rescheduled office hours.
Shahbaz Sharif was sworn in as the 23rd Prime Minister of Pakistan on Monday. According to Geo News, he appeared at his office around 7 in the morning before reaching the government employees’ office.
Later, when the employees appeared in the government office, he did it at 8 am instead of 10 am. He also announced that there would be only one day of weekly leave in government offices.
At the same time, he directed immediate implementation of the announcement to increase the pension of government employees and raise the minimum wage to Rs 25,000.
