In January, David Crowe, a 33-year-old Seattle man was held without bail after being arrested three times outside the “You Belong With Me” singer’s $20 million NYC home. He had been spotted chain-smoking and acting erratically, including telling passersby he was there to see Taylor.
It’s not the first time the 34-year-old has felt threatened. At least five other men have tried to gain entry to her homes. Revealing that she carries QuikClot army grade bandages for gunshot or stab wounds, the Grammy winner said, “You get enough stalkers trying to break into your house and you kind of start prepping for bad things.”

I’m in the closet going, ‘This doesn’t end well,’” the 59-year-old recalled of frantically dialing 911 during a terrifying 2014 home invasion. The Bird Box actress added that she suffered PTSD following the incident at her Bel Air, California, property.
Convicted in 2018, Joshua James Corbett was later found to have eight firearms registered in his name as well as a notepad scrawled with such messages as “I love you and you are very special to me. And without you in my life, there is only misery. I’ve waited and waited but you never come.” He killed himself later that year.

After news broke of the 54-year-old’s relationship with now-husband Michael Douglas, 79, in the early 2000s, enraged fan Dawnette Knight began sending unhinged messages to the Chicago star — including threatening to dismember Catherine and feed her to a dog unless she broke up with Michael.
Knight was jailed for three years. “This woman is not insane. She is simply evil. This person was very articulate in how she was going to kill me,” the actress said in her victim impact statement, telling her stalker, “Your actions will be with me for the rest of my life: how I will be constantly observing, looking over my shoulder.”

In February 2023, the 42-year-old got a restraining order against an alleged stalker who called her his “wife” and tried to break into her L.A. home on multiple occasions.
“There have been many incidents, messages on social media, letters but most alarmingly, there have been multiple attempts to visit, come into my home,” she said.
“He refers to me as ‘baby’ and calls me his ‘future wife’ and indicates that he believes I am pregnant with his child. I have never met him and have absolutely no intention of doing so.”

The 52-year-old managed to have a sense of humor about overzealous fans. “Yeah, I’ve had a few,” the Stranger Things actress has said of stalkers. “One was really nice. He kept showing up as an extra on movies, and you don’t know. You have to be careful. So I told the director, because he was kinda creepy. And I got this letter in my trailer the next day that was like, ‘I was just trying to get work as an extra! Just so you know, I’m not even obsessed with you anymore, I’m obsessed with Alyssa Milano now!’ So he kind of left me for Alyssa Milano.”
