At the same time, at the same time, the former governor of Bangladesh Bank will be present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting on the overall activities of the anti-corruption commission this year. Mohammad Farasuddin. In keeping with the central program, the same program will be celebrated in 6 divisional offices and 22 integrated district offices of the commission.

Addressing the senior officials of the commission on the occasion of the founding anniversary program, ACC chairman Iqbal Mahmud said, “All the aspirations of the ACC have not been fulfilled.” It was hoped that a situation would arise in which corrupt individuals, especially government officials, would lose their moral courage to commit corruption. But the reality is that the ACC has not been able to reach that stage yet.

He said the people’s confidence in the institution was increasing due to the multi-faceted steps taken by the commission. From 2015 to 2016, the number of complaints received by the commission has increased by about 60 percent. In 2016, the conviction rate has increased to about 80 percent.

He said the officers are being trained at home and abroad to enhance the capacity of the ACC. This year, the Commission has implemented its own prisons, armed police unit, intelligence unit, ACC Complaints Center Hotline 108, record room construction, asset recovery unit and various other infrastructures. He congratulated the officials for implementing these activities.
