SOMERVILLE, NJ – The Somerset County Department of Health Friday reported 26,493 cases of the COVID-19 virus since the first cases were reported in March 2020, an increase of 57 overnight, There has been a total of 751 deaths since March 8, 2020.
The New Jersey Department of Health Sunday reported 985,599 total cases, an increase of 1,658 overnight with 24,424 COVID-19-related deaths in New Jersey since last year and an increase of 8 overnight.
A total of 5,769,062 New Jersey residents have been vaccinated with 15,242,386 COVID-19 tests administered statewide.
Somerville has had a total of 1,184 COVID-19 cases since March 2020, with 20 COVID-19 related deaths.
